WESST Client Wins 2010 TeenNick Halo Award

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – December 7, 2010. Lauren Huichan began heading down a path of self destruction when she was removed from an abusive household at the age of 12 and put into foster care. Living mostly in group homes without any real support, she started getting into fights, abusing drugs, and got kicked out of high school at the age of 15. Eventually, she ended up in treatment. That’s when she started to realize that she could either continue down a path of drugs and despair or do something worthwhile with her life.

A Bright Spot in the Albuquerque Economy

WESST is the recipient of a grant of $20,000 from The Stocker Foundation. The funds are earmarked specifically to foster entrepreneurship and economic empowerment for residents of Doña Ana County.

WESST Teaches the ABCs of SEO

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – March 10, 2008. A new WESST consulting program, called ezSEO, is helping small businesses do just that by teaching them the techniques and strategies of search engine optimization (SEO). SEO is an ongoing process that enhances both the search engine and user friendliness of a website. The objective is to increase both the volume and quality of traffic to a site so that it is not only easy to find, but more likely to convert a visitor into a customer.
