“Whatever we do for ourselves dies with us.
What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal.”

Albert Pine

Ab Potter, beloved friend and supporter of WESST On behalf of the Board of Directors, staff and clients of WESST, we extend our deepest condolences to Cara Potter and her family on the passing of a remarkable man.

Ab’s passing has left a deep void in the WESST family. As a member of the WESST Board of Directors for the past four years, Ab’s passion for entrepreneurs was reflected in his active involvement in all areas of the organization. Ab never hesitated to ask the tough questions which resulted in numerous organizational, policy and service improvements.

WESST was particularly blessed by Ab’s philanthropic leadership. During the capital campaign for the WESST Enterprise Center, Ab and his wife Cara, made the largest individual gift that WESST has ever received and then challenged the WESST Board to match his gift. His generosity has done more for WESST’s long-term individual donor development efforts than anything ever has.Ab Potter worked tirelessly on behalf of WESST.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 26th, 2:00 pm at First Unitarian in Albuquerque. For more information call (505) 884-1801 or visit www.uuabq.org.
