It is with great sadness that WESST mourns the passing of Dr. Jacki P. Riggs, who served on the WESST Board of Directors for six years. During her term as Chair of the Board in 2006, Dr. Riggs was instrumental in helping WESST raise millions of dollars for the construction of the WESST Enterprise Center.
A lifelong advocate for education in all forms, Jacki was especially committed to economic empowerment for women, the lifeblood of WESST’s mission. To her loving husband Joseph and her children Joe, Amanda and Austin, WESST extends its deepest condolences for your loss.
To honor Jacki’s life and memory, WESST is pleased to announce the establishment of the Jacki P. Riggs Memorial Scholarship Fund to provide business training and education for low-income female entrepreneurs.
