Thanks in part to a technology grant from Hewlett-Packard that awarded WESST with 25 new laptops, free computer labs are now open to WESST clients at our regional offices in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Las Cruces, and Roswell.

Computers come pre-loaded with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks 2010 and staff is on hand to answer questions or provide guidance on how to use these programs if you need it. Printer access is also available.

Since computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis and lab hours vary by region, it’s best to call and reserve a computer ahead of time. If you will need training, please mention your specific needs when you call. All lab users are required to sign in on our Computer Usage Log and sign a Technology User Agreement form.

This new service supports WESST’s initiative to reduce the digital divide and help more New Mexicans benefit from high-speed internet (broadband) connectivity and technology training.
