LadyJennD Mixed Media Collage Creation
Owner: Jennifer DeSantis

Jennifer DeSantis is a self-taught mixed media collage artist that you may know by her moniker, “LadyJennD”.

The creation of art has always been a form of self -therapy for Jennifer. Her process of creating mixed media collage has always been a form of creation out of destruction. By taking images and texts from publications, she destroys their original intention, and creates a whole new meaning and context for them to exist. Much like a DJ remixes songs and sounds, LadyJennD is a “Visual DJ”, remixing images and words.  The goal of Jennifer’s art is to pull the viewer into the piece, making them want to grasp and explore it, and hopefully to find some kind of inner healing.
