WESST Client Profiles

Fusion Concepts

Marche Karger, a military veteran, relocated to New Mexico in 2022, and was initially looking for support to start a business in Rio Rancho and secure a line of credit to purchase equipment.

March officially launched Fusion Concepts in February 2023, a home improvement business specializing in building custom outdoor kitchens and patios. After starting his business and adjusting to a new state, Marche realized he needed allies in this new environment with different laws and regulations, as well as a different business culture. He struggled with finding construction labor to support the growth of his business. March was referred to WESST from an SBA partner and began working with our WESST Rio Rancho team, Dave and Sara, in early 2023.

He credits Dave and Sara with helping him navigate the intricacies of properly registering and running a business in New Mexico. Their consultations together have allowed him to advance his business’ success, connecting with other local businesses in his industry and local community.

In April 2025, Marche was recognized as Rio Rancho’s Regional Chamber’s Veterans in Business Success grant winner and received $1,500 in grant funding for his business.
