WESST Client Profiles

Tramicia describes herself as an “ideas person” and wanted to start several businesses she saw a need for in her community, but realized she needed to commit to one business venture at a time.  

She learned about WESST while searching online for organizations that helped with small businesses and initially reached out in October 2022. She learned that our organization provided training, consultation, and small business loans. “At that time, I had several business ideas in the works and not one solid plan.” 

With little to no financial resources, she realized she needed and wantedoutside help to help steer her in the right direction and stay focused.  She wanted help with business training and access to funding.  Tramicia states that WESST has been able to help her focus on one business at a time and still provides encouragement to continue pursuing her dreams. “WESST has helped me with a business plan, information on available grants and applying for them, and completing cash flow statements.  With the support from WESST, I have started my beauty and cosmetic business.”
