The place to start and grow your business

Funders, Partners and Supporters

Support for WESST comes from a variety of sources.

In every region of New Mexico, WESST’s work is enhanced by collaborative relationships among public, private and nonprofit organizations. Funding partnerships are in place with a number of federal, state and local agencies including the U.S. Small Business Administration, the U.S. Economic Development Administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the CDFI fund, the State of New Mexico, the New Mexico Department of Economic Development, the City of Albuquerque, and Northern New Mexico Connect. Long-term partnerships are also in place with the New Mexico Business Incubation Group, the statewide SBDC Network, SCORE, ACCIÓN New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado and the Loan Fund.

WESST’s six regional offices are funded in part by the SBAs Office of Women’s Business Ownership through its Women’s Business Center program. Support for loan applicants and borrowers is provided through a cooperative agreement with the SBA’s Office of Financial Assistance and its Microloan Program. As a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration, WESST shares a close working relationship with the New Mexico District SBA Office. (The U.S. Small Business Administration’s funding is not an endorsement of any products, opinions or services offered by WESST).
