Oftentimes, when asked, people will say that “everyone” is their potential customer (target market). That’s rarely so. The more you understand about your existing customers the more accurately you can predict where you can find more of them.
We’ll also need to give a nod to the fact that COVID has changed our ability to make accurate predictions on future behaviors because people’s lifestyles have changed.
We’ll identify basic demographics, lifestyle demographics and the randomness of other things that impact who our target customers are and what they are likely to want/need in their current lives.
