Marketing Director

Position Summary

One of New Mexico’s premier entrepreneurial services organizations is seeking a full-time
Marketing Director to oversee WESST’s statewide marketing activities. Ideal
candidate will have significant experience in all aspects of marketing and thrive in a fast-paced non-
profit environment. Bilingual candidates, women and people of color are encouraged to apply.

Key Accountabilities:

General Marketing
Build, lead, and inspire a client-centric marketing brand. Accountable for the high performing delivery of activities that support WESST’s marketing and promotional goals. Manages the cohesiveness of WESST’s brand and image in print and digital across the state. Attend community events as a representative of WESST. Monitor progress and submit performance reports.

Regional Program Support
Ensure our brand is reflected in all work as well as all aspects of the client experience. Accountable for the creative direction and promotion of WESST’s client training and program activities across the state.

Development Marketing
Accountable for supporting the marketing and promotional activities of the WESST Development Office to assist in reaching yearly fundraising goals.

Staff Engagement
Offers support to other departments (President, Finance, etc.) to include activities such as participating on committees, staff interviews, maintenance of files/records/online platforms, etc.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

Significant management and marketing experience. Entrepreneurial experience or experience in
working with small business owners. Excellent organizational, proofreading, verbal and written communication skills. Graphic design skills and experience preferred. Experience in working with diverse cultures and personalities. Advanced computer skills, including – Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Constant Contact, Social Media platforms, and web analytics (Google Analytics).

Education Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from an accredited institution or the equivalent of work
experience. Master’s degree preferred.

Salary Range: $65,000-$85,000
