RoofCARE is a New Mexico-based roofing contractor specializing in alternatives to roof replacement and preventing roof failure. The company’s initial management team consisted of three partners, two with extensive experience in roofing and a third with extensive financial experience. Shortly after starting the business, RoofCARE approached the WESST Business Incubator with their business plan, a great management team and a proprietary technology which extends a roof’s useful life. At the time, company owners believed that its technology would resonate in a post-recession market and they were right! Tapping into the WESST Business Incubator and its best practice methodology, RoofCare not only solidified and grew, but began to plan for future expansion.
In a span of three years, RoofCARE experienced 1,500% revenue growth and employed people in several New Mexico locations. Such a high growth rate is exciting as well as challenging since growing at this rate is not sustainable and may ultimately lead to business failure. With extensive assistance from WESST, with business plans, marketing strategies, coaching and finding a CPA, RoofCARE implemented policies and procedures for growth, thus enabling the company to graduate from the WESST Enterprise Center in 2014.
RoofCARE has developed their own proprietary sales training system which closes 70-80% of their prospective clients and they proudly say they haven’t lost a client in 2 years. Client satisfaction measurement is 9.7 on a 10 scale. The company now has offices in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Las Cruces with outreach to the Roswell and El Paso markets.
