Irwin Union Bank presents check for first installment of a multi-year capital campaign pledge

At a recent meeting with Chez Steel of Irwin Union Bank, WESST received the first installment of a multi-year capital campaign pledge. Irwin Union Bank has decided to go with a contribution plan that allows for its donation to be spread out over a set time span. This is just one example of several ways to become a WESST supporter.

Corporations can be involved with WESST through numerous venues: by becoming one of our Strategic Partners in the WESST Enterprise Center; sponsoring a naming opportunity in the WESST Enterprise Center; or partnering to enhance the financial strength of WESST through in-kind donations, employee volunteer programs and matching gift programs. Opportunities are varied and WESST works with each donor to accomplish their goals and objectives while striving to meet organizational objectives.

After “quietly” raising $9.2 million, with over $8.1 million coming from public sector sources (a combination of city, state and federal funds), and $1.1 million by key donors from the private sector, WESST is now focused on reaching out to the broader private sector to raise the remaining $1.2 million.
