Carolyn learned about WESST after attending a community event in Roswell. She was interested in having a food truck and came to WESST in September 2022. Carolyn wanted to learn more about the food truck business and how to test her idea for the market in Roswell.
“I was relatively new to the area and needed to know how to start,” says Carolyn. She was working hard but had limited resources to launch a food business on the scale she was imagining. “I did not know how to write a business plan, conduct market research, or work a budget.”
Carolyn credits WESST with helping her stay grounded in her business ideas. “After working on a business plan, I realized it did not reflect my passion, add value, or fulfill my mission to meet the community’s needs.” She pivoted and began working on business models that would meet her vision in supporting the community. She is now focused on educational services, consulting, and event planning.
