Little Gigglers Learning Center
Family-owned and operated, Little Gigglers Learning Center is the first child care center in Tatum, NM. Denise Null and her daughters, Lisa Bell and Tina Jackson, opened their center on June 1, 2026.
The Little Gigglers team learned about WESST through another client, Susana Salcido, earlier in 2026, and shortly after became connected with our team in Hobbs, participating in our Lea County Child Care Accelerator. As new child care business owners, Denise, Lisa, and Tina wanted to continue learning and make sure they had knowledge to successfully open and manage a new child care center.
The Accelerator program provided the opportunity and support to grow their skillset in business ownership and child care operations. "The tax and bookkeeping trainings were especially helpful in understanding the financial side of our business," says the Little Gigglers team. WESST also connected them to resources specifically available to child care providers, like Wonderschool.
One of the biggest challenges the family faced was learning the in's and out's of running a child care center while also navigating New Mexico requirements and regulations. With the support of WESST, they gained support to help Little Gigglers launch and grow within the Tatum community. As they continue to grow their enrollment, Little Gigglers are interested in exploring low-interest financing opportunities to help support the continued growth of their center.
