Pro Homemaking Services

Farmington, NM
Farmington, NM

In April 2024, Renee Jones moved Pro Homemaking Services into their new office space at the Enterprise Center at San Juan College Quality Center for Business (QCB) in preparation for their expansion.  WESST’s Farmington Women’s Business Center is an economic development partner also housed at the QCB. The support from WESST to strategically plan has been crucial for Renee, as she was able to effectively prepare for expansion, develop cash flow knowledge and make data-based decisions.

Like so many small businesses, the main obstacle Pro Homemaking Services LLC faced was funding needed for growth. Renee found it difficult to know where to begin when managing business financials. She worked with WESST to identify spending that hindered her bottom line and sales goals, learning how to create a cash flow model that worked for her business.

Renee says WESST was able to provide resources and knowledge to develop a less reactionary management style, where she was able to anticipate needs to properly implement policies, procedures, and strategies to meet those needs. Using data to inform her decision making, Renee is able to reduce the probabilities for failure and pivot the trajectory for success.

When I started my business, I realized what was once a simple way to make a living could turn into a legacy, but I had no idea how to get there. With WESST, I have a network of professional connections, a newfound wealth of knowledge and expertise, and further resources that can continue to help me to achieve my goals.
